You can purchase Big Moe’s Cason Pork Rub here. It doesn’t seem like a lot, but it gives a good heat to the back end, making this rub a great sweet/heat rub for Pulled Pork or ribs.
Angela's Pulled Pork Dry Rub

Take your pulled pork to the next level with this flavorful Pulled Pork or Rib Dry Rub.
Ingredients
- 8 teaspoons brown sugar
- 4 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 4 teaspoons onion salt
- 3 teaspoons paprika
- 3 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Big Moe's Cason Pork Rub
Directions
- Step 1 Mix all ingredients together.
- Step 2 Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
NOTE: I typically make 4x this recipe for a 5-7 lb pork shoulder or 2 slabs of ribs. See Big Batch Below.
