Sautéed Apples
An easy recipe for Sautéed Apples that can be used in cakes, cupcakes, muffins, pastries or even just spooned over ice cream.
In a large frying pan, add the diced apples, sugar, butter, vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract) and cinnamon. Sauté until golden brown and the sauce becomes a light syrup. Do not over cook, especially if you will be using in a cake, muffin or pastry recipe. Let cool before using.
