Asian Beef Tenderloin

I first had this Asian Beef Tenderloin after purchasing it from a meal assembly club.  It was so good that my family wanted it again and again, so I did some research and found a recipe to start with, but of course, I added my own twist to it.  They loved it.  The meat is so tender it cuts with a butter knife.  It also has plenty of flavor!

This meal is easy to prepare and cook.  In a large, deep marinade container, prepare the marinade. Set aside.

Asian Beef Tenderloin Ingredients

Trim the beef tenderloin of any fat or sinew. Place the beef tenderloin into the marinade.  Ensure all sides are covered and marinade for 6-8 hours. Turn/rotate if necessary throughout the process to ensure all side are in the marinade.

Asian Beef Tenderloin in Marinade

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Remove the beef tenderloin from the marinade. Place in a roasting pan.  Lightly season with coarse ground black pepper.  Salt is not needed since there is salt in the marinade ingredients.

Roast for 30-35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit (medium rare).  Remove from the oven.  Let sit covered for 6-8 minutes covered with aluminum foil to allow the juices to flow back into the tenderloin. Slice and serve hot.  Serve with a side salad, potato and/or a vegetable.

I paired this Asian Beef Tenderloin with:
