Salsa

I started making salsa back in the ’90s and have tweaked this recipe over the years.  This is a mild and chunky salsa with a slight kick that is sure to please your family.  This is also a really easy recipe to make.  You will never go back to store bought once you had this Salsa.  It is the perfect accompaniment for tortilla chips or to use with your favorite Mexican food.

For this recipe you will need:

1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
3 cans diced tomatoes
1 cans diced tomatoes, fire roasted
1 garlic clove, finely minced

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro leaves, small mince
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
